Selena’s Freed From Desire
I thought this would be a good track to use as it is really upbeat which is good for camera movement purposes as well as maybe dance routines. It also has a lead female singer and as we established from our lip-synching video, Tanya was really good so we could use her for the role. This would make it easier for us as a group too as we would have less commitment issues. Furthermore, there are very few lyrics so it would be easy to learn and the lyrics are meaningful and appropriate. The only problem is it might get a bit repetitive but we can compensate for this through using a variety in our visuals.
This club-mix does not have a music video and therefore conforms to the criteria. I have a few ideas for the pitch which I am to share with Mel and Tanya tomorrow to see what they think!
